How quickly can you come?

If you’ve lost your keys, broken your lock, locked yourself out at home or work or have unfortunately suffered a break-in, then getting help as quickly as possible is essential.

Often, the first time a customer contacts us in an emergency and their first question is about how quickly we can get out.

We operate a 24-hour emergency locksmith service. The type of job and your location can affect our response time, but we can usually get out to urgent jobs within the hour and try to get out to non-urgent calls within a couple of hours, so you’re not stuck around waiting for too long.

How much do you charge?

Another common question we get asked – on almost every job, in fact – is how much do we charge? Unfortunately, without knowing the job specifics, it’s hard to give a definitive answer. However, we don’t have a call out charge, only charge for parts and labour, and won’t carry out any work until we’ve agreed a price with you upfront. So, you can be sure you are getting the best price and service and won’t be hit with any hidden costs or surprises once the work has been completed. 

Do you have to replace my lock?

If you’ve lost your keys or locked yourself out, we can usually gain access to your property without having to damage or replace your locks. However, it’s important to bear in mind that if your lock is broken, it will need replacing, and if you have lost your key, you may want to replace your lock for your own peace of mind. Either way, we can provide you with the best advice and recommendations to help you make the right choice.

Is your work guaranteed?

The short answer to this one is yes. All our work is carried out by highly experienced, qualified locksmiths and is guaranteed. We work to BSI standards and are an accredited member of the Master Locksmiths Association, so you can be sure you are getting the best possible service. 

What type of locks can you supply?

We supply and fit a wide range of replacement locks for doors, windows, cars and other vehicles. Our range includes Yale locks, Mortice locks, uPVC cylinder locks, anti-snap locks and multi-point locking mechanisms. We can also cut spare and replacement keys for all the above types of locks and more.

Will I get any spare keys with a new lock?

Yes, most of the new locks we supply come with at least two keys. We can also cut as many spares as you need.
